About Me
Aero Aswar is an Indonesian international jet skier the son of Saiful Sutan Aswar, who is the Chairman of the Indonesia Jetsport Boating Association (IJBA) and also the Chairman of Jetski Asia (IJSBA Asia). His younger brother, Aqsa Sutan Aswar, is also a highly successful jet skier. Aero and Aqsa are grandchildren of Sutan Aswar, one of the founders of the Indonesian Air Force (AURI, now TNI AU).
Aero began learning to ride jet skis at the young age of three, with strong encouragement and guidance from his father.He competed in his first race, the "Baby Race" for children aged 4-8, at 4.5 years old in Jakarta in 1999, and he won it. His father introduced him to various extreme sports like go-kart racing and motocross, but jet skiing felt different and more adventurous to him. He became a professional jet ski athlete at the age of 14.
